When Tracy and Katherine McGregor established the McGregor Fund in 1925, they identified as their mission “to relieve the misfortunes and improve the well being of humankind”. Their lives and philanthropy reflected certain values, which the trustees of the Fund endeavor to honor and preserve with the following statement of values.

We believe in

The right of every person to move to the highest possible state of freedom and independence, while also recognizing our interdependence

We endeavor to bring to our relationships

We value these approaches to problem solving
